Ashanilaya Vridhashram – Activity Report 2024-2025

10-05-2024:

Today we had the visit from Union Bank of India, regional office –Indore. Mr.S.K.Sukla The Chief Manager along with his few staff visited our old age home, distributed bed sheets and mosquito nets to all our inmates and were appreciating our noble work done for the abandoned women of the society.

28-08-2024:

Today our inmates had the joy of seeing the children from Ryan International School, Rajendranagar-Indore. 42 students along with their Section head Miss.Harsha Ramani paid a visit to our centre, celebrated the Birthday of their Chairman Sir along with our inmates by cake cutting, singing, dancing and distributing grocery and food items to our centre. All of them enjoyed and spend a valuable time with each other.

03-09-2024:

Today we an Ayurveda health camp in our centre, organised by Government Ayurveda hospital, Rau. Dr.Mrs.Abhilasha along with her team conducted the health camp by doing the health check-up along with monitoring Blood pressure, Blood Sugar and Haemoglobin of all our inmates, staff and sisters. After the check-up medicine were given as per the need of the patient. They were very happy with the co-operation of the Management, staff and inmates.

30-09-2024:

Today we had the visit from cute little Angels from Bachpan School, Treasure Fantasy, Rangwasa. 135 students along with 15 Teachers visited our Ashanilaya old age home, met our elderly women, distributed snacks for our inmates and went back happily.

01-10-2024:

Today International women’s day was celebrated in our centre. NSS Students from Government Ayurveda College –Rau, along with their professors from department of sociology Mr.Anurag Singh Rau , visited our centre , spent some time with our inmates talking, putting up cultural programmes and distributing snacks and personal requisites to all our inmates. Students and inmates were happy to meet each other.

03-01-2025:

Today we had another opportunity to have the health check-up of our inmates by the team of Billion Hearts Beating Foundation of Apollo hospital, Vijaya Nagar –Indore. Dr.Rohit Singh along with his team members conducted the health camp in our Ashanilaya old age home.

08-01-2025:

Today our inmates had the joy of visit by the Management team Sr.Gracy-Priciple, Sr.Amala-Primary Headmistress, Sr.Josphine- Pre-primary Head mistress, 50 students representatives from Nursery to class XII and teachers of St.Norbert senior secondary school, Rangwasa-Indore. They organised Christmas carol singing with Musical instruments and brought woollen cardigans which gave them immense joy and family spirit. Children were very happy with the exposure programme and social activity undertaken by the school.

24-01-2025:

Today was a joyful day for our inmates as 20 employees from Endo India Par Formulations Pvt Ltd , Pithampur-Indore had come and spend their valuable time with us by interacting with us, dancing, singing, group games and friendship meal together. They also donated to our centre water heater, Adult Diapers, Grocery items and blankets which doubled our joy . All our inmates eagerly participated in all the activities conducted by the Endo team. All the Endo staff were very caring, polite and enthusiastically mingled with us and made our day a memorable one.

22/02/2025:

Today we had the visit from students of SAGE University – Indore. Along with Professor.Pramod Bansal 52 students and few faculties visited our Ashanilaya old age home, interviewed our inmates about their life here, enquired about their future need and spent their valuable time. They also distributed snacks to all the inmates before leaving.

20-03-25:

Today we had cataract eye camp conducted by Retina super speciality hospital – Vijaya nagar. All our inmates benefited from this camp, six of them were diagnosed of having cataract and are booked for the operation. Few others were given eye drops.

27-03-25:

Today we had conducted one hour Vipasana for our inmates, organised by Ramlal Patil and team. This helped the inmates to quieten their mind and relax their body for few minutes.
