02-04-25:Betma Convent Visit:
Today Sr.Anital Paulraj and Sr.Bastina Royar from Betma convent visited our centre, celbrated Sr.Jovita’s birthday by cutting fresh home made cake, provided grocery items for our inmates with the amount collected from the charity fund of Lentern fasting .
08-04-25: Mhow School Visit:
Today Along with Sr.Manisha Fernandes ,The Principal, Sr.Gracy Antony ,The Head Mistress, Mam.Hema Katiyar , the students representatives from St.Mary’s Hr.Sec .School , MHOW , visited our centre, with our inmates, sang songs for them and distributed surf, phynoil etc for our centre through their charity fund collected by the students. All were very happy to be with our inmates and experience their love and pain.
16-04-25: Sr.Judith Visit:
Today Sr.Judith from England visited our centre, distributed sweets spend time with our inmates. The old people welcomed her with flower, danced and expressed their happiness.
17-04-25: Dewas School Visit:
Today along with Sr.Nisha the principal, Teachers Javed , Sameer and Shweta few students representative from class 9th to XIIth slandered visited our Ashanilaya old age home, listened to the stories of our inmates, distributed sweets and snacks and donated Deep Freezer for our centre through the fet collection of students. The students were very much impressed by our service to the abandoned women and were emotional by hearing their stories.
01-05-25: Worker’s day:
We celebrated worker’s day by having get together meal with our inmates and staff. Today Mukesh Patidar came with his friends and cooked food and served our inmates and staff.
07-06-25: Health check-up:
Today we had taken our Inmates and staff for the health check up to Nirbhaya health centre at Treasure fantasy who had organised a free health camp by checking Blood pressure, Blood sugar, Haemoglobin, uric acid and Eye check-up.
09-06 -25: New arrival of inmates:
Today we had the joy of having new inmates from Mhow Kumud and Deepika mother and daughter who are differently abled.
14-06-25: Health check-up at Banganga:
Today we had taken few of our inmates to Banganga mental hospital for their regular check-up of Psychiatric illness.
21-06-2025: International yoga day:
Today our centre celebrated International yoga day by doing yoga with our inmates. We also made Ayushman card and samagra id for our inmates.
26-07-2025:
Today we celebrated Grandparents day in our centre by honouring them with gifts and blessings.
06-08-2025: Visit of wellwishers:
Today we were privileged to have Mr.Sanjay Prasad ( Rangwasa BJP leader) and Mr.D.S.Lodhi (Retired CAT Officer) along with Mr.Raju Jhon (Civil Engineer) from CAT . They were impressed by the service and cleanliness of our inmates and had promised us to provide monthly grocery items.
07-08-2025: Inspection from Collectorate:
Today from the Collectorate office inspection of our centre was done by Miss. Priyamkada S.S.O J.P Sanwar, Miss.Shweti Sharma S.S.O J.P Indore and Miss.Priyanka Dodiar S.S.O J.P.Mhow. They spend nearly 3 hours interviewing every Inmates, staff, Management and checked all the required documents, cleanliness, fecilities available in the centre etc. They were satisfied about our service and promised us to help our inmates to get their old age pensition and Ayushman card.
24-08-2025: Visit from Adarsh Rotary club Indore:
Today we were blessed by the visit from the members of the Rotary club –Indore. Mrs. Isabel Swamy the secretory along with few members visited our centre, spend some time by interacting with our inmates, distributing snacks and Donating washing machine for our centre. We greatly appreciate their valuable contribution and service to the humanity.
09-08-2025: Rakshabandan:
Today we celebrated Rakshbandan the festival of loving bondage of brothers and sisters. Few families visited our centre and tied Rakhi to all our inmates and distributed sweets and took blessings from them.
19-8-2025: Saharaward Annversary:
Today we joined with our inmates and staff of M.Y Hospital Sahara ward and celebrated the 9th Annversary. We were honoured by Dr.Ashok for our caring service to the abandoned women send from M.Y hospital along with other N.G.O who are taking care of the senior citizens who are aging and suffering from terminal illness.
15-08-2025: Independence Day:
Today we celebrated Independence day in the parish by offering special mass and flag hoisting at St. Norbert’s senior secondary school and shared the joy of freedom with our aged inmates by offering them sweets.
05-09-2025: Onam celebration:
Today we had the traditional celebration of Onam festival by having our meals with kerala traditional food like Avial, Ginger curry etc served in the banana leaves.
26-09-2025: Medical camp:
Today we were privileged to have Doctors from Appollo hospital Vijayanagar , (Billion hearts beating project) who conducted the health check-up for our inmates and staff and did blood check-up for screening Diabetes and Anaemia. They also promised to provide medicines for inmates who need continuous medication for Blood pressure, Diabetes and Thyroid. We also installed new solar grid system for energy saving purpose with the help of our Trust.
30-09-25: Senior citizen’s day celebration:
Today our inmates had the joy of having honoured by the students of Smriti Kathak Acadamy who conducted indoor games, performed dance and distributed snacks and spend quality time with our inmates on the occasion of Senior citizen’s day.
21-10-25: Festival of lights:
Today our inmates celebrated with joy the festival of light- Deepawali and had special get together meals.
31-10-25: Musical Event;
Today we had the joy of visit by Music for spring group –Rangwasa. The Team organised beautiful and melodious music event for our Ashanilaya inmates along with snacks and tea after the programme. It was very enriching and encouraging the young and the old to enjoy God given gifts and talents by using them for some one’s happiness.
22-11-25: Silver Jubilee Celebratation:
Today was a historical moment to all of us as we celebrated the Silver jubilee of Ashanilaya Arogyadham Old age home cum Panchkarma centre. We were blessed to have the presence of honourable M.L.A Shri.Madhu Verma and Dr.Janak Palta –Director of Barly Institute for development of women and Sustainable Solar energy, Rev.Bishop.Thomas Mathew of Indore Diocese and many other Special guests and well-wishers to witness the event.
10-12-25: Visit from Benefactors:
Today we had visit from CMIA Members (Catholic Malayalee Indore Association) who donated our inmates woollen muffler and shocks as Christmas gifts. Also we had today the Joy of Welcoming Child Jesus in preparation for Christmas through melodious carol singing in front of the crib at various places.
25-12-2025: Christmas celebration:
Today we had the Christmas celebration with Joy and enthusiasm.
08-01-2026: Visit from School:
Today we had the joy of visit from Ujjain St. Mary’s higher secondary school. Along with Sr.Priya, few teachers and representatives of children had come. Interacted with our inmates and distributed grocery items. The next day we had Inspection from the collectorate. They appreciated the cleanliness and peaceful surroundings.
12-01-2026: Birthday celebration:
Today we celebrated the birthday of Miss.Alaknanda our first inmates by cutting cake and having get together meal and ice cream.
23-01-2026:Musical Event:
Today few members from geet gunjan Musical group visited our centre on the occasion of birthday of Mrs.Jyothi . They spend 3 hours performing music and dance along with our inmates, distributed snacks and went back happily.
26-01-2026: Republic day celebration:
Today we had Republic day celebration. From collectorate office the HRD department members visited our centre, distributed sweets and blankets to our inmates.
01-02-2026: Catechism class:
Today Sr.Aradana started family catechism to our parishioners in preparation of rectification of their marriage.
16-02-26: SDP college visit:
Today 45 students from SDp college visited our centre for exposure programme along with their principal, spend few hours with our inmates, distributed sweets and toilet articles to our inmstes and returned with happiness.
26-02-2026: Conference of Religious Women, India CRWI:
Today Sr.Nirmala and Sr.Sujatha had gone to Matredei institute- Goa for Formators meeting.
The Institute Mater Dei (IMD), a Unit of the Conference of Women Religious India (CRWI), joyfully commenced Day One of the National Conference 2026 on “Connectedness in a Fragmented World – A Path for Formation 2035” at Santa Monica Convent, Old Goa.
The day began with the Inaugural Holy Eucharist, celebrated by His Eminence Filipe Neri Cardinal Ferrão, Archbishop of Goa and Daman, President of CCBI and FABC. Rooted in Scripture and communion, the Eucharist set a profound spiritual tone, calling formators to nurture unity, shared life, and mission-oriented formation.
07-03-2026: Simrol school visit;
Today we had the visit form Simrol convent school. Sr.Reeta, Sr.Priya, few teachers and around 50 children visited our centre. Interacted with our inmates. Donated grocery and meal for our inmates.
08-03-2026: International women’s day:
Today we had the women’s day celebration at our parish church. On this same day Sr.Priya OGM, the sister of Sr.Jovita passed away at Bhopal in their convent and funeral was on 12th March.
13-03-2026; Provincial visit:
we had the canonical visitation of our provincial superior Sr.Elsa. On the last day we had get together programme with our staff and inmates with high tea.
21-03-2026:CRI Recollection:
Sr.Aradana and Sr.Nirmala had attended the CRI recollection at Snehalaya institute. Sr.Aradana was awarded 3rd prize for Logo competition.
